Rick's pride of workmanship and experience not only allowed us to get the bathroom we dreamed of, but truly created a space more useable and enjoyable than we imagined."

This was a complete bathroom remodel. They told me what they wanted. I told them what was possible, what wasn't possible, and gave them ideas.
I started by masking off the room so that the dust wouldn't get all over the house. Then I gutted the old bathroom, including removing extra and unnecessary walls, moved the plumbing and electrical to accommodate the new toilet, tub, and sink, which were moved to other parts of the bathroom to make it more functional.
I moved the vanity to where the tub was, moved the tub to where the toilet was, and moved the toilet between the tub and the vanity to allow more space and easier utilization of the space available.
I put in a new tub, tiled the tub base and shower surround with travertine, including tiling around the window and putting a cubby for the soaps in the space that used to be an inset medicine cabinet.
I installed a vinyl-framed window to not rot, where the last window was wood-framed. I also installed an exhaust fan to allow moisture to escape the bathroom to prevent mold problems.
Tiled the floor with travertine and put in a new vanity. The floor used to be covered with linoleum, and the floor was both out of level and wavy, so I made the floor level before I put the travertine in.
The new countertop is travertine and set on plywood and a beautiful wood vanity!
